I first received a letter from my older brother who is serving a mission in New Jersey. They are honestly the best things. I love hearing about how he is doing and the awesome experiences he is having. He is funny, down to earth, and crazy about the gospel. His letters are perfect. The BEST part is that he always ends with a scripture or a quote, and amazingly enough, it is one that is so relevant to my life at that moment. I swear he is an inspired human being.
The second best part of my week was talking with my dad the other day. I called the home phone, which I never normally do, and I was so glad that it was him who answered. It had been a little while since we last talked, so I was thrilled to hear his voice on the other end. We had the best little chat, just catching up and filling each other in on what has been going on. The things he says seriously crack me up, and I don't think he even means to be funny. That's why it's hilarious.
Then, there was my little brother. We don't talk often, but when we do, we have the funniest conversations. He speaks fluent sarcasm and tells things like it is. He honestly knows what to say to make my day. I just love this kid.
Yesterday, I talked to my mom. Not just once, but four times. I had so much to tell her, but when I called her, I would forget to mention something every time. So I would call her back when I remembered...four hours later. That happened three more times. I love to tell her everything. She laughs with me, cries with me, gets excited with me, and vents with me. She's the best.
My family rocks. Enough said.
Sending joy your way,
Tream
